NORITAKE MORIMURA TWO HANDLED SERVING BOWL Floral Art Deco Blue Luster Ware

For your consideration is this beautiful vintage hand-painted Noritake handled vegetable/serving bowl in a floral pattern – yellow and orange poppies with green and black stems on a glossy white field. 1 ½” wide iridescent periwinkle blue band around edge, and two black handles. This lovely bowl measures 9 3/4” across (from handle to handle) and 2 1/2” high. The green backstamp dates this piece to 1918 and has the M (for Morimura) in a wreath. The backstamp states “Noritake, M, Hand painted, Made in Japan.” Please note: This bowl is in very good, used vintage condition. But please keep in mind, it is over 100 years old and therefore, not new. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing, just some light marks to the blue paint. That’s normal for a piece this old.
