I’m sure it has happened to you ... ‘Do you trade’? Whether or not you do ... it’s important that we remember the person who is asking is paying you a huge compliment. Let’s treat each other in kind. Whatever the reason someone wants to trade is not synonymous with them being a bad posher. We need to remember there are multiple reasons for trading... As a rule I personally don’t. If you ask however, I will ALWAYS treat you with dignity & respect. 🥰🌺

db23 I do t mind being asked to trade. What I do mind is when people leave a comment with one word: “trade”. Like, “I can’t even be bothered to write a brief sentence like ‘hey, would you consider a trade?’. Take this is an indicator of how this transaction will go”.

fccandles @mcioppa hello:-) yes .. you can use posh for shipping. Only downside is that you cannot insure a package through posh and many traders feel better using labels from outside sources so they can insure the item 👍🏻

jocelyni I feel like this app has come a long way since it was first created. I remember trades weren’t allowed. You couldn’t sell make up or household items. You also couldn’t sell mens or kids clothes. It’s cool to see things change and evolve. Thanks for posting !

disneyandmore4u @fccandles well said! I agree, it never hurts. I am always willing to trade and have many times. It has been wonderful way to get that special treasure. It is a mutual decision that can be beneficial. But I do use caution- I would not trade in Nov. - Dec. as that is a busy time for USPS and packages can mysteriously disappear although still rare. In circumstances like that mydomain only refunds how much the item was sold for not its original price on the listing so you perhaps sell an item

disneyandmore4u For $3 in a trade (minimum price to sell anything on mydomain) and it disappears in the mail, that is what you get refunded. Also, look only trade with someone who has a high rating, at least a few “love notes) and is willing to communicate closely with me through the trade process. I am aware of the risks and that is why I do use caution and am choosy on how I trade as what I would trade for. The way that mydomain is set up, it is always better to sell. 🥰

fccandles @disneygurl2u yes…. Many people feel that way. I have been trading on here for nearly 10 yrs with no issues. I often use other methods of shipping so that I may insure the package. I trade all yr long when I do decide to but do have strict guidelines:-) Happy Poshing to you 😉

sydney1969 That is was so well worded and such an extremely positive way to look at trading. I have been ask twice. I’m honest and explain I have never traded before but if they would they would explain in detail, risk and all I may be very willing. I never heard back from either one. I’m a brutally honest person & I prefer that in return. I didn’t know how to answer them except with the truth. Maybe I handled it wrong. I wasn’t ugly I don’t think…..was I?

sydney1969 I have a 5* rating & wonderfully sweet love notes. So I very much agree on checking the Poshers rating & love notes out. Just like when I’m following ppl I try to look at how long they’ve been on here, # of shares and # of following. When I share ppls items I always try to items worth the same amount or close not always just the first one because it’s faster. Plus this way I get to see their closet.

sydney1969 I was ask a long time ago and when I replied I didn’t know nothing about it. I never heard from them again. But I’ve never ask anyone because to me Personally I’d feel weird insinuating I had merchandise equal to theirs. (how they would view it) Also, I’m at the age that blind trust is hard.
