This is part of the road I have to drive on to get in and out of my neighborhood, they have opened our emergency gate but only 1 street in the neighborhood can use it at this time, luckily no water on my street, just stuck, in! Better than being stuck out! @marykat WOW Glad you seem to be safe. Glad your son made it to you. Hope your husband can make it home when his trips over. Wow!!! I've been so busy I knew about the storm but haven't been able to watch the news. Heard how bad it was but to see pictures is another thing. We had bad flooding at our area beaches. Usual property damage due to water but nothing life threatening. Wow. God bless. ๐

@ropicado cont Ro we have a pond in the back of our house, that was my concern, I never saw so much heavy just pouring down rain for hours at a time. The pond water did rise and covered the trunk at bottom of big tree in back yard, it's now back down, my heart breaks for all the ppl that lost so much! I feel very blessed!

Oh my ๐ฅ. So sorry. I'm in NC and we had a ton of rain but my goodness SC looks bad!!! We have a local group collecting water and supplies and sending to your state...praying for all of SC.
